LSU’s Kade Anderson had like a bait in Game 1 of the College World Series Finals Saturday and the duel won with Cameron Flukey of Coastal Carolina. Anderson threw a full game exclusion in the 1-0 victory. The Tigers entered the driver’s seat in search of the 2025 national championship and are just one win away from their eight title in school history.
Anderson threw 130 stands and emptied the red-hot chanticlers, wearing a spectacular 26 matches in the first game of the Championship Series. The Southpaw took ten overs and allowed just six strokes on the way to victory, and placed a bow on an excellent individual season in which Anderson established itself as one of the top targets in the July MLB concept.
While Finding also kept his end of the bargain in the duel of the jar, the one run he surrendered in the opening frame was the decisive blow. He received no running support from his bats and lost a difficult happiness, despite throwing his own gem of his own with his own.
The Chanticleers must win in Sunday’s game 2 to force a rubber match, otherwise the trophy will return to Baton Rouge for the second time in three years.
