A British flag luxury supersaacht that sank Sicily Last year, killing the UK technology magnat, Mike Lynch and six others, completed his latest trip to the Sicilian Port of Termine Imerese on Sunday, the day after the recovery crews completed the complex operation in the Raise it out of the water.

The upper and blue Hyka of the 56 meters (184 feet) Bayesian, covered with algae and mud, was held by the yellow floating string of the Vinci outside the port of Porticello, before being transferred to the imperse term, where it was thrown at the beginning of the afternoon.

On Monday, the delicate recovery operation will be completed, as the ship will be transported ashore and placed in a specially built steel cradle.

Then it will be made available to investigators for further examinations to help determine the cause of the sinking.

Bayesian sank on August 19 from Porticello, near Palermo, during a violent storm while Lynch was treating friends on a navigation to celebrate his release two months ago in the US with cheating charges. Lynch, his daughter and the other five died. Fifteen people survived, including the captain and all crew members except the chef.

Italian authorities are performing a complete criminal investigation.

The ship slowly rose from the seabed 50 meters (165 meters) deep over three days to allow the steel lifting straps to be secured, secured under the keel.

Bayesian lacks his 72 -meter mast (236 feet), which was cut off and left on the seabed for future removal. Mastu had to be disconnected to allow the hull to be brought in an almost right position that would allow the craft to rise.

British investigators said in a temporary report released last month that the yacht crashed by “extreme wind” and could not be healed.

The report said Bayesian’s crew had chosen the place where it was overwhelmed by prediction storms. Wind speeds exceeded 70 knots (81 mph) at the time of sinking and “violent” knocked down the ship at an angle of 90 degrees in under 15 seconds.
