A strong earthquake of 5.1 has hit the northern Iran in the middle of a war with Israel.

Earthquake hit About 22 miles away from the Iranian region of Semnan at 9:19 afternoon with local time and was also felt in the Qom region of Tehran.

It is understood to be a shallow earthquake.

Semnan is the home of the Sekan’s missile complex operated by the Iranian army, as well as the Sekan Space Center.
