It was not a very sacred act.
Rita Leblanc, the one-off heir who apparently for the saints and granddaughter of late team owner Tom Benson, was arrested on Monday for allegedly printing a parking officer in Charleston, SC According to live5news.com.
The 48-year-old man is reportedly charged with the impediment of an officer/city employee, and she was released on a personal acknowledgment on Tuesday.
Sgt. Chris Stinson told The Outlet that Leblanc had seized a parking taking tackle mechanism while an officer tried to put it on a vehicle.
Officers were allegedly called to the scene due to a parking enforcement officer who was moved.
A court date is scheduled for July 24, per nola.com.
Leblanc served as vice-chairman of the saints from 2012-14 and was able to be the ultimate owner of the team.
Things took a turn when Benson fired her in December 2014 while also “cutting off any future contact” Nola.com reported at the time.
Leblanc allegedly seized Benson’s wife – and the current Saints owner – Gayle Benson during a home game in December against the Falcons.
Two sources told Nola.com that Leblanc was the ‘aggressor’ and that she allegedly grabbed gayle to her shoulders and repeatedly shook her in a family suite.
Tom then announced in January 2015 that Gayle will be the only successor.
The situation became ugly, with a lawsuit filed by Leblanc, her brother, Ryan and mother, Renee, in which they hoped to regard Benson as mentally incompetent, per nola.com.

The parties finalized the lawsuit in 2016.
“No matter what happens in the litigation,” Leblanc told Sports Business Daily in 2016“I will still be a partial owner.”
She added: ‘I wouldn’t say I’m happy. I am fulfilled. I don’t have a private life. There are miserable things in the press and wretched things that are not reported. No family has to go through it. ‘
The saints come from a disastrous campaign of 5-12-their worst point since 2003 and the Quarterback Derek Carr retired earlier this outdoor season.
