Israel said on Sunday that he has recovered the bodies of the other three hostages taken in the Hamas attack on October 7, which sparked a continuous 20-month war in the Gaza Strip.

The Israeli army identified them as Yonatan Samerano, 21; Ofra Keidar, 70; and Shay Levinson, 19. All three were killed during the initial attack and their troops were taken to Gaza. Kobi Samerano said in a Facebook post that his son’s remains had turned into what would have been the 23rd birthday of Yonatan.
